YKI COURSES

PREPARATORY COURSES FOR NATIONAL LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY EXAM (YKI TEST) AT LÄRKKULLA

Are you planning to take the YKI test? Why not come to Lärkkulla? We offer you four/ten-week intensive courses, at the end of which you can take the YKI exam with us! The course contains useful exercises in all the core language elements - speaking, reading, writing and listening. You also get various home tasks and assignments, as well as expert tips on how to succeed in the YKI test.

Course content:  

• 24 lessons per week (Monday-Friday)
• Accommodation Monday-Sunday (wifi, sauna and the library are also available)
• 4 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, coffee, dinner) Monday-Friday

The minimum age to participate in the course is 15 years. The minimum level for participation on this course is A2.2.

Finnish yki course

Date: 28.7-22.8.2025

• YKI-test: 30.8.2025*

  *Registration is open: 2.6.2025 at 10 - 11.6.2025 at 16

• Price: 1 000€ (without accommodation 800€)

• YKI-test price: 176€ (not included in the course price)

Swedish yki course

Date: 16.3-11.4.2026

• YKI-test: 11.4.2026*

  *Registration is open: 23.2.2026 at 10 - 15.3.2026 at 16

• Price: 400€ for the first week and after that 155€ per week

• YKI-test price: 176€ (not included in the course price)

To be able to take part in the course, you will first need to contact the school and have an online interview with a teacher. The teacher will evaluate if your language skills are at the YKI level. If not, then the teacher will recommend a study plan and a course level which are the most suitable for you to reach the level required for the YKI test.
